Description

Bridge360 Metatheory Model v20.5 (Epiplexity Handshake) is a consolidated philosophy-of-science governance specification for analyzing claims, interventions, and systems under entropy pressure without making metaphysical, ontological, or completeness claims. It is not presented as science per se. Rather, it operates in a truth-neutral, presentation-level space in which physical, informational, and social systems are treated as inhabiting one entropy geometry, while domain-specific measurement, experimentation, and engineering closure are explicitly left to handshake partners.

Version 20.5 integrates prior Bridge360 components into one sequential governance algorithm with three conditional layers: Core governance, Action-Guidance, and Stability-under-Change. At its center are the concepts of spine corridor, leakage, K-budget, caveat discipline, band classification, intervention declaration, and structured acceptance language. The document requires that governed artifacts declare scope, perturbation limits, measurement assumptions, time horizon, and stakeholder assumptions; distinguish exploratory commentary from action-guiding output; and support stability claims with explicit dossiers, tripwires, audit logs, and rollback semantics.

The v20.5 upgrade documents the first worked handshake instantiation of Bridge360’s structural slots for the machine-learning domain through the epiplexity framework. In this handshake, the metatheoretic K-budget skeleton is filled by bounded-observer estimators of structural content and residual noise, enabling a domain-specific rendering of navigability, spine confinement, data-selection governance, and post-perturbation structural preservation. This upgrade does not replace Bridge360’s vocabulary. It demonstrates how a scientific domain can fill Bridge360’s open slots without collapsing the distinction between metatheory and science.

The model therefore serves as a governance grammar for bounded systems: it specifies what must be declared, evidenced, logged, and bounded, while refusing to overclaim about what is ultimately real or complete. Its purpose is to provide a disciplined invitation to scientists, engineers, and other domain specialists to participate in a Handshake Protocol: the metatheory holds open the structural slots; domain sciences supply the observables, estimators, thresholds, and tests. In that sense, v20.5 is both a consolidated governance document and a worked demonstration of how independent scientific frameworks can converge with Bridge360 without exhausting it.
